SUMMER DAY CAMP:

Enjoy vacation this summer with Lilac Thyme's FUN Summer Day Camps. Open to any youngster wishing to ride and learn about horses. Campers enjoy daily lessons, games, crafts and snacks. The week long morning camps are divided into age groups and skill levels. Camps are held one week a month in June, July and August. Space is limited to 12 campers each week to provide more individual attention.
Advanced reservations required. No prior experience necessary.

GIRL SCOUTS AND BOY SCOUTS:

Lilac Thyme Stables has badge workshops that are approved by the Girl Scout Council.
Brownies, Daisy Scouts, Juniors and Cadet troops earn their appropriate badges in one session.
Troop leaders can call for further information. Minimum of 6 scouts, maximum of 16.

SCOUT BADGES:
Cadets - $30 per scout - 2 hour program
Juniors/Cub - $30 per scout - 2 hour program
Brownies/Daisy - $25 per scout - 1 1/2 hour program

Optional Bonfire: $20
$100 Deposit (Non-refundable)



MISCELLANEOUS GROUPS:

We also host PTA groups and most other organizations.

BIRTHDAY PARTIES AT LILAC THYME

A birthday party at LTS provides a fun and unique party, sure to become a treasured memory. Party participants enjoy a variety of horse related experiences. Activities include riding, games on horseback, grooming horses, and an optional bonfire afterwards. Whether an avid rider, or new to horses, participants are sure to love their Horse Birthday Party.
A TYPICAL PARTY INCLUDES:
  • Introduction and safety rules
  • Grooming and preparing horses to ride
  • Learning fun facts about horses with hands-on interaction
  • Riders learn basic commands while being led by a helper
  • Riders play several games on horseback
  • Sing "Happy Birthday" while on horseback
  • After the ride, groups may enjoy a bonfire on our beautiful farm. Hot dogs, marshmallows, cake, etc. (provided by parents) may be enjoyed fireside (weather permitting)
  • A small heated room may be used to continue the party if the weather does not permit a fire
PARTY DETAILS:
  • Book your party EARLY. Dates fill quickly.
  • Minimum of 6 participants, maximum of 16
  • Number of riders may not be decreased after final count!
  • Cost is $30 per rider
  • A $100 non refundable deposit is needed to hold date
  • Balance due at the beginning of the party
  • Final rider count due 1 week before party date
  • Riders may be added up to 2 days before party
  • All riders required to wear long pants, closed toes shoes and helmets (provided)
  • RELEASE FORMS for all riders must be signed prior to start of party
  • Release forms are available on our website and can be sent out with the invitation
  • Optional bonfire: $20
  • Time with the horse is approximately 1 ½ hours. Bonfire time is 1 hour
  • Parents may bring hot dogs, s'mores, pizza, cake, snacks, marshmallows, non-alcoholic beverages, etc.
  • Hot dog sticks, picnic tables, fire, and trash bags are provided
  • Gift Certificates for lessons are available
