| At Lilac Thyme Stables,
we pride ourselves on the quality of our personnel.
We strive to have the highest level of expertise possible in a privately owned riding school. All of our instructors, both Senior and Junior, have extensive experience in both training and instruction. Our volunteers must also be well versed in all levels of horse management, horse care and handling. |

Cindy Musto, Lilac Thyme Owner and Senior Instructor
Cindy Began her love of horses at a young age at a cousin's farm, riding the farm's draft horses. Her formal lessons began at age 11, and by age 15 was beginning to teach and train. Her love of the Morgan horse took her from Hunt Seat to Saddle Seat and Driving. |
|
Cindy began showing at the Class A and National level in all Morgan divisions and then moved into competitive Carriage Driving.
Throughout her entire horse career, she had always hoped that some day she would have her own stables and horseback riding school.

Cindy married, and had 2 children. As she
raised her two girls, the dream of having her own farm never wavered. Finally,
in 2002, she and her husband began the construction of her dream barn.
With the help of friends and family, the barn has blossomed into 20 stalls, 3
instructors, and many fine students. She hopes that her motto "If I
don't learn something new every day, I'm disappointed" will continue to
inspire her students.

After attending college and graduate school, and earning her Masters degree in education, she re-entered the world of horses. She has been riding with Cindy Musto and has been teaching lessons for 6 years. She enjoys showing and trail riding with her horse TJ. |

Megan has always been passionate about horses, and started taking formal riding lessons when she was ten years old. She graduated from Kent State University in 2010 with a degree in Early Childhood Education which has helped her teach horseback riding at Lilac Thyme. While at Kent State, she was a member of the Equestrian Team and competed in the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association. After gaining experience at a few other barns, Megan is happy to now call Lilac Thyme Stables home with her Quarter Horse, Jazz. Megan has been part of the Lilac Thyme Stables barn family since 2006. |
