Lilac Thyme Stables School Horses

At Lilac Thyme Stables, our horses are the foundation of our riding school.

We have many different types of horses at Lilac Thyme. The wide variety of in-house breeds we own allows us to teach several different disciplines on the appropriate kind of mount. We have Thoroughbreds, Morgans, English Quarter Horses, Western Quarter Horses, Paints, and 1/2 Arabs. Plus, we have a few cross-breds, and a pony or two.

All of our horses are well-trained in their own particular expertise. They are also well-proofed regarding their suitability to our lesson program. We have calm and placid horses for our beginners, plus more eager horses for our better riders.

Most of our horses compete in horse shows during the summer months.

We also occasionally buy and sell horses, trying to better our level of quality and improve our school horse string. Sometimes we even sell our horses to our students!
